  • Luxurious Bedding – 200gsm cotton percale sheets for that deep, uninterrupted sleep you’ve been craving.

  • Soft Towels & Bathrobes – A selection of 500gsm towels and plush robes for ultimate comfort.

  • Curated Bookshelf – A mix of fiction and non-fiction, personally read and recommended by the owners.

  • Coffee & Tea – A well-stocked selection of teas and coffee.

  • Bluetooth Speaker – Play your favourite tunes as loud as you like—there’s no one around to complain!

  • Outdoor Comforts – A choice of seating, warm blankets, and a firepit for stargazing and late-night conversations.

  • Smart TV & Streaming – Access to Netflix, BBC iPlayer, ITVX, and Channel 4 for cozy nights in.

  • Superfast WiFi – High-speed, reliable Starlink internet for staying connected (if you want to!).

The Captain’s Place is your private retreat for two, offering the perfect balance of seclusion, comfort, and curiosity. Here, you’ll feel truly cut off from the world—cocooned in a space designed for your ultimate relaxation.

Essential information before booking your holiday at the Captain’s Place:

Minimum stay: three nights.

  • Capacity: 2 adults

  • Pets: sorry, we can’t accommodate dogs or other pets.

    We’re so looking forward to welcoming you to our little corner of Skye! Here’s everything you need to know before booking:

    Payments

    • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your stay.

    • The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before arrival.

    • Payments are taken securely via Stripe.

    Cancellations

    • Cancel 30 days or more before your stay and you’ll receive a full refund.

    • If you cancel within 30 days, the booking is non-refundable.

    • We always recommend taking out travel insurance just in case.

    Damage Deposit

    We ask for a £125 refundable damage deposit, payable with your final balance. This will be refunded within 2 days of your departure.
